Welcome to the Campus Israel Alliance

Students from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma have created this webpage as a resource for other students, community leaders, and elected officials and their staff. It is our goal to provide an accurate and up-to-date compilation of material to help each user understand the complexities of the modern day US-Israel relationship.

At ORU, the Campus Israel Alliance is a politically active group of students who love the State of Israel and have an interest in the events of the Middle East and how they affect the U.S. Our support for Israel is Biblically based, and logically supported by national security concerns. As an organization, we explore all issues relating to Israel and the U.S., including: cultural similarities, history of the region, politics, foreign policy, social justice, technology and innovation, media, and terrorism.

The CIA webpage will be updated weekly.

Dozens of Latin American leaders in Israel for Christian conference

Dozens of pro-Israel Latin American leaders are in Israel this week seeking to further support for Israel across the continent.

The week-long event, which is being attended by about 60 legislators, supreme court judges, and religious leaders from 21 countries, is billed as the largest gathering of Latin American politicians in Israel.

The conference, which is being organized by the Brazil-based AMISRAEL organization, includes meetings with Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, MKs, members of the Supreme Court, Foreign Ministry officials, former minister and famed Prisoner of Zion Natan Sharansky, and Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yona Metzger.

"We would like you to visit more often, and will do our best to make this your second home," Misezhnikov said Sunday evening at the conference's opening event.

The delegation includes several participants from Venezuela which cut ties with Israel during the war against Hamas in Gaza last winter.

The non-governmental organization which organized the event is made up of cross-party political and religious leaders that are identified with the ideals of promoting peace and supporting the State of Israel.
